MISSION
To be a wrestling program that is recognized statewide for its competitiveness and for the development of self-disciplined student athletes who are noted for a strong work ethic in all facets of their life. The foundation instilled through the wrestling program will assist the athletes in becoming responsible leaders while pursuing their life's goals.
VISION
Manheim wrestling will be a positive and successful program. Success will be driven through high expectations and empowering individuals to think and act as responsible student-athletes. Our emphasis will be on building leaders for life in an environment that promotes hard work and integrity, while having fun.
PRINCIPLES
Our student-athletes are the reason for Manheim wrestling and are the key to the programs’ success.
Student-athletes who come through the Manheim Wrestling Program will learn the importance of being a good role model and inherit life-long leadership characteristics.
Every student-athlete involved in the Manheim Wrestling Program will be valued as an individual and respected for their time and dedication to the program.
Coaches of Manheim Wrestling will be role models to student-athletes that challenge individuals to grow as wrestlers and also as contributors to society.
Parents of student-athletes and community supporters of Friends of Manheim Wrestling will be encouraged to take an active role by helping the wrestlers and coaches achieve the goals of the Manheim Central Wrestling Program.
